Donations

Donations made to the Ramey Air Force Base Historical Association are fully tax deductible under the laws of both the United States and Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The Association is a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation.

Objectives

This association will exist and function to accomplish the following goals:

To create and maintain a museum facility at Ramey which will:

serve as a repository and place of safekeeping for documents, photos historical items and remembrances of Borinquen Field / Ramey AFB as it existed between 1939 and 1973.
serve as a forum to promote the historical significance of Borinquen Field / Ramey AFB and to educate the public as to its original role and function as a strategic air base during World War II as well as the important role it played during the height of The Cold War.
serve as an educational center, open to school children and adults, by conducting programs in harmony with these objectives, such as the restoration and static display of historic aircraft as well as other projects related to aviation history and Borinquen Field / Ramey AFB in general.

To work with local and national authorities, businesses and individuals to locate this museum facility at Ramey, and to raise funds to acquire, renovate, staff and maintain it as a museum and education center.

Funding
The RAMEY AFB HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION will operate by means of: fund-raising events, donations, grants and an annual membership fee which is $24.00 per year.

Tax Statement
The Ramey Air Force Base Historical Association is recognized as a tax exempt Historical Organization under Section 501 (c) ( 3 ) of the Internal Revenue code. Any donations or contributions made to the Ramey Air Force Base Historical Association will be considered tax deductible to the full extent of the Internal Revenue Code.
